Program for Distressed Physicians |
Description |
The Center for Professional Health faculty designed a program that involves a three-day continuing medical education course and three follow-up sessions. The Team Behavior Survey for Physicians is used before and after the course to evaluate behavior in the workplace and create accountability for activities. Physicians will receive a detailed analysis of workplace behavior as seen by themselves and co-workers. Physicians will receive training in alternative behaviors and explore cognitive distortions that relate to their problems using role-play, feedback, testing and experiential exercises designed to reduce complaints of disruptive behavior in the workplace. |
