Child Maltreatment is a complex area of health and mental health concern that overlaps necessarily with other systems such as law enforcement, child welfare, juvenile justice, legal, advocacy groups, and prevention groups. Because this system is so complex, there is an ever present need to learn about new practices and theories as well as to share information across systems so as to have better coordination of services for children with maltreatment histories.
