The desired results of this multidisciplinary program are to maintain a high level of effectiveness in research activities conducted within the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer center Affiliates Network. This will be accomplished by providing information about recent updates on management strategies for a variety of tumor types: melanoma, renal cell carcinoma, gynecology, breast, melanoma and lung, plus radiation management, study conduct, regulatory reviews and informed consent processes. Presentations will be made by nine faculty and staff during this live, one-day symposium. Presentations will review current and emerging management options for patients with metastatic disease, as well as adjuvant and neoadjuvant therapies. Additionally, conference participants will receive updated training on study recruitment and management methods that can be applied at their clinical practice sites to help increase accrual.
