Getting Started
Welcome to online resources provided by the Vanderbilt Division of CME (VCME). The purpose of these pages is to assist you as you apply for CME credit, implement your CME-certified activity, and close out your course.
- Begin by viewing the Glossary to familiarize yourself with CME-specific terms.
- Next, review the information on the FAQs page, which will provide you with answers to the questions most often asked by CME Associates and Course Directors.
- New CME Associates are required to attend training sessions, schedules for which may be found on the page entitled Training Opportunities Here, you will also find training manuals for each of the three types of courses we accredit (departmentally managed, jointly sponsored and regularly scheduled series (RSS)).
- For easy reference, forms found in the training manuals may also be found on the Required Forms page.
- Supplemental Resources will provide you with information on commercial support; links to useful sites and other types of credit; VCME policies and procedures; as well as other information.
- The Alerts page is a compendium of updates we have emailed to CME Associate and Course Directors.
